So, yeah, I was going to just sit this one out; but seeing as I somehow got my hands on a huge spaceship, I thought it might be fun to give it a spin.

Figure I should go for that giant robot. I'm not taking responsibility for anybody who gets in the way, so you might wanna stand clear.

[And, indeed, that is a ... HUGE warship descending towards the school]

[It doesn't waste any time firing its main cannon at the celestial's giant robot as soon as it's in range.]

[Edit, post battle: In the end, the Yoshitsuna rammed the giant robot into a mountainside. The robot is still operational, but is pinned down for now and missing a few limbs. There was a lot of collateral damage around the school grounds, too]

Well, that was fast. Robot's out of commission for now. I think I'm gonna take a break.

[With a wave of it's giant fists the robot engages it's gravity control systems, knocking missiles off course. Though, given how they spiral and weave, they weren't on course to begin with. A huge area of the school is cratered, but the robot remains upright and only has three obvious hit marks scoring it's surface.]

Huh. Guess you're not so helpless after all.

[The spaceship continues downward still, all those turrets starting to turning to lock onto the robot before firing repeatedly]

[The turrets fire small shells very quickly, but the robot has very thick armor and wades forward through the power before reaching up and turning it's gravity fists on full power. The bow of the Yoshitsuna dips a bit as the robot grabs hold...and then rips it up off the ground as the robot is pulled into the sky by it's own tractor beams.]

What, seriously?

[The Yoshitsuna starts to pick up speed... apparently it has no intention of trying to break the tractor beam, and instead is going to try to ram into the robot]

[... all those turrets are still firing just for the heck of it]

[That kind of piloting requires a pilot skill check...what do you mean you don't have any superbattleship piloting skill points? Well, you ram the robot, but it's pulled you off course, and while the damage is starting to creep up, you're now all engines ahead full and diving into the side of a mountain.]

[And the narrator decides to chime in-]

"As the ship plummets into the side of the mountain, you are engulfed in a massive explosion. Well, at least it was a heroic sacrifice..."

[... only, the damage isn't quite as severe as the narrator apparently anticipated]

... huh.

[Damage control reports flood in across Yoshitsuna's computer. The main reactor is offline, the plasma laser is busted, and the engines have been knocked from their mounts. That giant explosion? Plasma venting for safety reasons.

Oh, and an angry giant robot is trying to laser through the front of the ship, but it looks like it's in even worse shape than the battleship.]
