Well, it's true Aurum probably did... but, I think to anyone sensible they would have known it was just horrible and cruel. He was a hero... he was a Super Hero! Super Heroes shouldn't lie, cheat, manipulate and destroy things around them just for their own perverse reasons.

I mean... even if someone thinks they're right, is it right to destroy the life of someone else who wasn't hurting anyone? Is it right to try and warp a person just to fit your image of some dark evil enemy you want? Heroes shouldn't act like that, a hero that acts like that and goes so far as to attach demon parts to themselves and hurt people... isn't a hero anymore. They're just a horrible person worse than the worst demon ever could dream to be.
