Aurum... he was the greatest hero of my world. He was known as Super Here Aurum. He fought hordes of demons, vanquished Overlords, saved towns and princesses and all sorts of amazing things! I had all his comics, all his games, all his anime and collectibles! I even know his Seven Oaths by heart!

I had thought he had died a long time ago, but then I met him.... He had been doing a lot of horrible things and turned himself into a monster to achieve them. He was more like the end boss the heroes defeat to save the world than any semblance of a hero....
