Flayventure 1: Establishing the Flay Cave 2.0

[The Myphone turns on to reveal the interior of what appears to be a standard workshop classroom: large, open, and... all the machinery pushed carelessly over to one side, save for a cauldron at a different side of the room.]

[There's some wiggling of the feed, and then it turns around, revealing Flay, the cause of this mess.]

Ah-ha! That's how it works! Greetings, denizens of the Netherworld! This is quite the school you have here. Normally I wouldn't care about attending, but this is truly interesting! I'll humor you all for a little while.

So, first order of business is to re-establish my workshop! Here it is, the Flay Cave 2.0! I am currently accepting members, so don't delay and miss the opportunity to do something amazing!

Ha HA! Now that's the spirit! I need to finish putting together an athanor from that junk over there!

[He motions to the pile of machinery behind him.]

It will be a challenge from just using these, but I am more than capable of it! You, however, can go look for places to gather ingredients for me! [ie, do his dirty work.]

[NO WORK IS TOO DIRTY FOR A REAL HERO. Maybe.]

An epic quest to gather necessary hard-to-find materials from dangerous lands... It's a mission befitting for a Heroine of Justice like me! [Um, no, Nisa, that's not---] I accept! What is it that I must find for you?

I haven't gotten the chance to scout out this Netherworld yet, so you can just surprise me with what you find! We'll figure out what to do with it later.

Of course! I am Flay Gunnar, but you can just call me Flay. I've established this workshop in the building amongst the others. I'm sure you'll be able to find it.

[It's the one sans a door. Since he blasted it out to get inside and take it over.]

I am pleased to meet you acquaintance, Flay! As you may already know, my name is Nisa, a peacekeeper of this Netherworld.

[ONE HOUR LATER... Nisa barges in, empty-handed. OR SO IT SEEMS. She strikes a pose. Triumphant music optional.]

A heroine appears to provide an abundance of supplies for a needy alchemist!

[She promptly reaches into her Prinny backpack and starts unloading piles upon piles of random drops from both here and her world.

... It's really a lot of stuff that shouldn't fit in backpack. But hey, bags like Jess's are all the rage back in Gamindustri.]

Take this! And that! And this! And that!

[By the time she gets back, that pile of stuff in the corner has taken on the appearance of a giant furnace. Flay stops his work for a moment to regard his new recruit.]

[Of course, the backpack does nothing to faze him.]

Ha HA! Now that's what I'm talking about! You already know the first rule of alchemy: take everything you need!

I prefer to say 'take everything in front of you'!

[This alliance does not bode well for the residents of this world... Nisa smiles sheepishly.]

I do have some experience with synthesis, however... It's unfortunate, but my skill is leagues below what my ally can do. I can only make Hero Drinks.
