[Supposing you might be somewhere near the bank, you may find Pamela speaking with three identical maids.]

[For lack of any good artwork on them, they look something like this]

What... why were you three in the bank?

[The maids exchange blank expressions, none seeming able to formulate any sort of response]

[but finally, one of them speaks... in a sort of neutral, subservient voice that match their emotionless expressions. They might come off as brainwashed... or maybe they're just really well trained?]

"We do not know. I apologize, Lady Pamela."

[Pamela seems kind of at a loss of words... how did they even survive there that long?]

*Evangeline, as usual by now, splits into bats, forming elsewhere, standing.*

[Pamela portals again, stepping out behind Evangeline]

[she swings her sword at the vampire... whether it hits or not, it's also launching a huge wave of magical energy]

Nebula Hypnotica!

*As Pamela swings, Evangeline grins, as a strange mist begins to appear around her. A second later, she takes the strike, grunting but, oddly, NOT splitting into bats. The strike cuts her clothing, but doesn't seem to do a whole lot to her.*

I will destroy you!

[Pamela swings her sword two times; each one sending out a wave of magical sword projectiles. A portal seems to appear before Pamela... is she getting ready to teleport again? No! Two oddly shaped projectiles that look like summoning circles (similar to how her portals look like) suddenly fly out towards Evangeline; aimed at wherever she may dodge (or not dodge, whatever)]

[Should they hit... they'll pretty much just hurt like any other of Pamela's projectiles.]

[... it's hard to tell if Evangeline's spell is having any affect on the swordswoman yet]

*Surprisingly, Evangeline didn't seem to be splitting into bats. As the projectiles, one after another, strike, she screeches in pain... But keeps standing, the fog rapidly growing thicker.*

[Pamela leaps up into the air, throwing more magic swords down. As she descends...]

[She portals again, flying through the air and bringing her sword down to chop at Evangeline a split second after the projectiles hit (or not hit)]

[... and as of yet, still no satisfactory result as to what Evangeline's mist is doing...]

*This time around, Evangeline's finally ready, suddenly jumping up towards Pamela, grabbing at her sword arm and swinging, intent on slamming her to the ground.*

Kuu...!

[The impact knocks the breath out of Pamela's lungs, forcing her to take in a deep breath of the mist...]

[The attack was super effective! The mist seems to disorient her for a bit... but then she suddenly forms a portal right underneath her, sinking away...]

[... and falling straight down at Evangeline from above, sword once again coming down to chop the vampire]

*Meeting precisely the same response.*

[At the last second, as Evangeline grabs her... PAMELA IS ENGULFED IN MAGICAL FIRE]

*Evangeline seems to tough it out, moving quicker than before to slam Pamela into the ground, then following up with a knee to the stomach.*

[Pamela takes it like a boss.]

[She portals a short distance away this time... though she seems hesitant to make any move... she's trying to observe if she even inflicted any real damage as of yet]

*It's hard to tell, but it doesn't look like she's done a lot.*

[... it sounded good in her head, okay?]

[She'll throw a huge ass fireball]

*This time, Evangeline isn't taking it. As Pamela throws, Evangeline has already moved out of its path, and directly towards her, making another few strikes.*

Just give up already!

[This time, Pamela doesn't seem inclined to try to match her melee ability against Evangeline again; jumping back into a portal behind her before the vampire can reach. She appears some distance away]

Not until your blight is removed from existence!

[And... more magic swords. Lots of them. And another huge magic shockwave to finish off the barrage]

*Evangeline... Seems to speed up, suddenly and quite intensely, as she evades the chain of swords, landing behind Pamela right as she launches her shockwave, and swinging into a roundhouse kick.*

[The kick connects squarely, causing her to fall to her knees and hands... though she disappears into yet another portal and some distance away...]

[... still on her knees]

... Annoying. But not a threat.

I... I will remember this insult...!

And the next. And the next. And still the next.
