Where do I get my own prinnies? They're adorable.

Here we have a Letter from a Gas Station Attendant!

Ah prinnies! That's easy. There are a number of ways to get prinnies. The simplest way is to go to the dark assembly and create them. Now the prinnies you get are all level 1 and unless you pass a bill they are really weak, but that's what you get for taking the easy way out.

Another way to get them, and my personal favorite, is to hire them! You just have to make sure the contract is in your favor. I never accept a prinny I have to pay with anything other than fish!

The hardest way to get prinnies is to go out there and subdue them, stealing them from their current master. The difficult thing there is prinnies are a commodity and I for example would be very VERY unhappy if someone attempted to take what is mine.

Then there is reincarnating into a prinny, but no one would ever do that, so who cares~

Marriage is for suckers! I mean, why would I want to share half of my belongings with some schmuck?

All marriage does is make people hate each other!

Now look, I'm not against love, but you have to put things into perspective. Do you really want to be with someone for the rest of your entire life? That's a pretty long time.

Besides, even that Love Freak Flonne isn't married.

I notice that many people here regularly speak of their level... But I also hear it said that there's a way to reset your level, and apparently it's very useful to do?

What's the math like on that?

I am Evangeline McDowell. While I have many titles, the important thing to know now, is that I don't intend to be so simple as an "honor student" or "delinquent".

Well, to answer your question. Levels are a basic measure of the power of people in the netherworld.

Now if you want to find out more about that, you can watch this tutorial rerun!

Now about resetting your level. We do that through a process called "Reincarnation" or "Transmigration." They mean the same thing. Reincarnating resets your level to 1... but lets you keep a small portion of your statistics!

Since the statistics you gain per level are based on your statistics at level 1, those few inherited points lead to big gains later! You can then repeat the process to get even BIGGER gains~

There is an upper limit, but it's nothing you can expect to reach anytime soon.

Hrm. I guess the actual numbers on this are a bit more of an art than a science. Might be worth going through a few loops in my training hall, then.

The minimums and maximums are fixed, but in between there are a lot of options from getting to 9999 and to calculating the fastest levels per second to get those 185000 stocked levels that give you the best statistics!

... Per second?

I wouldn't think that an ideal method of calculation when dealing with so many opponents to rack up enough experience.

Well, why don't I explain it by giving you a 'tutorial' about levels~

[...shit, he wrote his real name. Dammit.]

Most people in the netherworld have something called an experience level, it's a number between 1 and 9999! What's important about this number is it determines how powerful you are. So if you are a level 1 weakling you should probably avoid something that is like level 10. And if you are level 8000 there are very few things you can't beat!

You can view your level by looking at your Advanced Status Screen! Those are trickier to look at than your normal one, and they don't keep a record of it on the taken character's page, so your gonna have to work with me on this.

Also on that page are a group of numbers called statistics. These numbers determine your ability to do things from taking damage to blowing everything to kingdom come with Peta Star~ Your level determines these numbers, so as you can see, it's rather important!

And that's a tutorial about level for you and all our viewers!

I have a question.

How should parties be determined? Should one try and organize a classic five man band, or should it be more specialized?

You see Almaz, here in the netherworld we have something called a Base Panel.

This Base Panel contains all the soldiers you could ever need right at your beck and call! Not only can you have up to 10 soldiers out at one time, but all you need to do to change your team on the fly is just toss one of them right back in!

So next time you write to me...

Do your research first!

I don't want generics! I want player characters! Every proper formation needs player characters and then the generics fill the ranks! But we can't meet those people without progressing the story, and the way it looks like everyone is the starter character!

So I need to know what I should recruit for if I get my own personal story.

Oh, in that case! Just go out and trigger a plot sequence! The quickest way to do this is to go pick a fight with the biggest, most powerful and impressive unique enemy you can find~

If you are truly the main character, then this will trigger a hopeless boss fight and instead of getting Game Over you will get saved by your next party member!

They of course will be far weaker once they actually join you then they were in that cutscene, but we can't have everything!

And if you aren't the main character than the thing will stomp on you. But at least then you won't have to worry about forming a party anymore right?

It's a legitimate question though~

There is an old trick that people have been using for ages to get things through the council without swinging a sword.

First you concentrate all your bribery on a single high level senator. Then you simply toss all the lower level senators into that one and bam! You have passed the bill! No force involved~

Demons are much more likely to give you want you want when you don't kill them, especially when you massively increase their level as a result~
