Setsuna woke up deep at night. Everything was quiet. But something was wrong, wrong, completely wrong, she could feel it in her bones, all the way to her wings and every feathertip.
She got up, looked around, then looked down onto herself.]
"Wh..."
The door to her room burst open instants later, and Setsuna was gone, fleeing into the night.
The netherworld was a place of demons. And, despite how she looked, Setsuna wasn't fully human. The blood of demons ran through her veins...
[Openings!
1.Your character spotted someone flying high above the ground, with unclear purpose. An angel? The large, white wings sure suggested so... but what was an angel doing in the netherworld? And why did she, if someone had the senses to spot it, a rather dark aura?
2. Your character was exploring some cave high up in some generic spooky area, when a noise behind them alerts them - to the frenzied attack of a rather angry-looking winged albino with swords! It will take more than words to calm that one down...!

[The hiss wasn't very birdlike, but then Setsuna lacked a beak. What she did have was speed, and she quickly whirled to face Mindy again, glaring at her]

[Oh, bad move trying to use your speed though. Mindy saw that as a threat, and had a speed all her own she'd earned from years of training on the ship. The two were face each other nose to nose now].
Heh. So you finally decided to take me up on that sparring offer. Took you long enough.
Sorry for lack of tag earlier, I failed to come up with anything worthwhile for the fight threads
...'s not it...!
[She suddenly roared, spinning around herself with both of her swords, as if she was a green-clothed elf who usually wielded a mistress sword, or something like that! Except with wings, and with continuous spin!]
It's all good!
All right then. Let's see what you got.
[So she was using swords. Not her specialty, but Mindy could improvise, and luckily move fast enough so it wouldn't be so problematic. She had her meatl bow in her hand, parrying them both].
Re: It's all good!
Well, Setsuna did. And then suddenly slammed a whole wave of air at Mindy with some mighty beats of her wings, to unbalance her. Not in her right mind, sure, but not entirely harmless, either!]
Re: It's all good!
Volatio. Levitatio. Scopio Volent!
[Now THAT was a spell that Setsuna would know: Negi had taught it to her to begin with].
Broom!
[That got some recognition, yes, although she wasn't quite sure about what exactly, since Mindy was quite different from what flashed in Setsunas mind. Mindy wasn't male and tiny, for one.
And thus she attempted to tackle Mindy!]

Cutting said rock.
The attack? Wasn't the cuts. The debris was the attack!]

She did something else, though. She dashed back with a roar, spread her wings wide while slamming the ceiling with a wave of chi. Dust rained down, covering sight.
And then...this was what appeared in the dust?
Had Setsuna shrunken herself? No. She had used the dust to set up a paper charm copy of herself, as a distraction. She should have done this to begin with, she realized, with parts that still had some sanity.
And then fled.]
