Hey. So, has anyone noticed that we are in a school where nobody teaches class except for that plant-lady? And she just plays Tetris all day. There's a ton of abandoned class rooms, waiting for people to move in and do something. I mean, I found an orchestra pit with a fully functional organ in it.

So, I'm going to make people an offer. I've got a working knowledge of music, and if there's anyone who wants to learn or form a band, or learn the quantum-mechanical underpinnings of magic that will blow the back of your skull off, get in contact with me. Meanwhile, I'm going to treat everyone to the sound of me blowing some of the dust out of this thing.

...Okay, first off, I'll be teaching the basic theory behind my song magic. And there are forms that people who aren't Reyvateils can use, but it's a lot of work for little results. Secondly, aren't you ahead of the curve on your studies in that area already? And on top of that, this stuff is really hard. Not to call you stupid or anything, but we'd be embarking on a multi-year long course of study.

That said. You'd be a good backup singer.

If it helps motivate you though, Song magic seems to be like a synthesis of bardic, arcane and divine traditions from your world with the strengths of all three.

Even humans can form song magic you know. Don't tell me you're less magical than a human. They can't do it without help or a huge number of singers in a choir, but they can do it.

To tell the truth? I've never taught Hymmnos. All revyateils are born knowing it or learn it naturally at puberty. I know it forward and backwards, but the teaching will be new for both of us.

It's better than jail, I tell you that. when I was locked up after the rebellion it was nothing to do but read and write. I spent three centuries with an uncontrollable urge to scratch my nose.

Couldn't move at all. My body was technically not even real at the time, frozen in crystal so I couldn't move. It sucked so bad.

My body was bound, but my mind was free to wander, and interface with computers. It was basically letting me access the Binary Field. There's a Dive Machine in my bedroom, so I can show you if you like.
