While she may be scouring the skies, she's got her eyes on the ground for areas or people of interest. This was the start of some new incident, for sure! And if she could get her grubby mitts on it even before Reimu shows up, all the better for her. Hell, try and shoot her out of the sky if you so please.]

[Marisa laughs, stretching a bit before cracking her joints. This seems like a good way to practice up. and besides, stage 1 is the new stage 6.]

Certainly could use the practice. Wouldn't want to be left behind once Reimu shows up.

[She flashes her spell card deck, before revving up the broom.]

Hey, if I disappoint you, then I don't get rare items! You've got a ton of them!
[Without time to think, Marisa starts looking for the openings and weaving in and out, quickly summoning a few option bullets for added firepower when she needs it. She's had those P's saved for just such an occasion.]

Hey, not bad. You're starting this duel off right.

[she continues to graze, stray bullets nearly shaving off hairs or occasionally almost knocking her hat off. Luckily, she found the sweet spots where she could conserve her energy and not dodge as much.]

I'd provide some more return fire, but I guess it's a little bit more classy to just let you do your thing. Ammo conservation is good even if you've got infinite bullets.

[Oh hey, you think Kaguya's gonna let you have it that easy? She'll just adjust her positioning so that those spots Marisa found aren't so sweet anymore.]

[She'll pull a spell card of her own out once she gets a free moment, instead of sitting on the broom, now she's standing/surfing on the thing, holding her spellcard in the air.]

Hmhm, now it's interesting.

[Kaguya was... surprisingly adept at grazing. It probably helped that she 'practiced' with Mokou rather often.]

[Indeed, Kaguya just narrowly avoided a close call there already. With spell cards raining danmaku and lasers from both sides, it's getting a little difficult keeping track of who is firing what]

[Marisa was starting to really enjoy the fight! She increased the intensity of her attack, trying to make her movements as erratic as possible, keeping her trump card hidden, should she manage to get through this attack.]

[Kaguya's movements were oddly graceful as she continued to weave through Marisa's danmaku, quite the contradiction to her oft times rather odd behavior; though at the same time befitting her station as a princess. She also increased the magnitude of her danmaku in response to Marisa's own. The battle was most likely rather spectacular to watch from a short distance away]
