nother intro, with 9 times as many tails and 100% less sonic relevance
[Those checking the generic communication device now might spot a transmission from another new arrival.
Who looked rather dark. Her hair? Jet black. Her dress? Black. Her huge, fluffy tails? Black. Even the white of her eyes was, well, not white, but quite black indeed. And were those black particle effects around her? Sheesh, someone really had tried to make her look evol. Or edgy. Or both.
For maximum effect, she was currently lolling on a mound of perfectly white pillows, which contrasted her quite a bit.]
Why, hello! As I arrived during a time of invasion, it's only natural to introduce myself, lest I find myself killed as a traitor or spy.
My name is Himiko. I am, as you can see, a fox - and therefore highly suspicious, so I will avoid the regular 'I am harmless' talk, as true as it may be.
[She stretched, then made herself comfortable by shuffling a bit. One of her tails brought her a gem-encrusted goblet, which seemed to be filled with fine wine, of which she took a sip.]
No, no, there's nothing I want in particular, I don't even have a question, although I am somewhat curious about those winged ones trying to catch me, for whatever reason.
Either way, nice to meet you - even though the circumstances are anything but.

As for youkai who enjoy creating gaps, I must regretfully admit that I have no connection to them, youkais often don't like foxes like my kind, for some reason. Likely because of the pranks my kind likes to play on them.

Pranks, hm? I happen to live with a trickster myself.
no subject
And yes, pranks. My kind has a reputation about those, I wouldn't have the faintest idea why that is. Must be the tails.

Hm... oddly enough, the only fox I know is connected with the aforementioned gap youkai, and from what little I know she isn't much of a trickster.
She does have an atrocious fashion sense, though.

I suppose as for that fox, maybe there's a gap between our reputation and what we really are as well. I'm not that much of a trickster myself, really.
But hopefully have more fashion sense.
no subject
You certainly do possess a superior fashion sense than her! Especially since you don't wear a silly looking hat.
no subject
And I must admit that while I don't wear a hat now, I do own a variety of veils and capes which may not find your approval.
no subject
Oh, I don't have any issues with headgear in general. This fox just happened to have something very silly looking.
