Good question. Probably had a lot to do with the fact that we were the only two "real" people in that messed up world.

We talked a lot whenever we had the chance, did some stuff together, slept in each other's laps. I mean, we were the only two people in that place who could have a real conversation. Guess one thing lead to another, and we had cute little fox cat babies.

No. We were both from different worlds, like, centuries apart and were pitted as enemies, but we hung out, laughed and drank with each other, got into a lot of stupid shit. Eventually, I told her that I was into her and...she was into that.

If there were other "real" people stuck in that game world with us, things mighta turned out differently. I mean, me and Himiko aren't much alike, when you get down to it.

... Though, not something worth dwelling on, really. Wouldn't trade her for anybody.

Sometimes it matters. Me and Ruff actually, despite all the time, are alike in some fucking important ways: mostly, actually, that she is impulsive and rough and tumble and somehow lives by luck. I plan, but I'm just as vicious if not more and equally vicious.

Some traits can span a long ass time, really.

Yeah, we kinda are too, but we're enthusiastic too. We've fought off a shit load of people, hell, we even kinda shared bodies before, and we're still together!

Well, most of the senate here is full of guys except for two, if you don't count the student council.

And the Overlord of this place is definitely a guy.

... Somehow, it doesn't seem like they matter much, though.
