[Mir has made good on her threat, and is now teaching classes-maybe you have been fortunate enough to sign up for this strange tuition, or maybe she's just grabbed you out of some fucking around you were doing and hauled you in to sit at a desk and be bored.

Oh, and the classes she's teaching? Everything from some strange language called Hymmnos, to choir and band, and advanced mathematics and quantum physics/the magical Theory of Everything. Heaven help you if you fall asleep durring the lecture-but some of her stuff is rather innovative and interesting, so maybe you can remain attentive.

Indicate if you've been hauled in, are here of your own volition, or just passing by. And maybe even what class you'd like a lecture on. Though due to small class sizes, it's more like tutoring.]

[Himiko had walked past the room, noticed the commotion, and peered in.

It seemed funny enough, so she snuck in, to watch the flexagon lecture. Soon, she was amusing herself with folding flexagons with her origami paper, covering her rustling noise with, well illusionary non-noise. Huh.

For one, I've noticed you can do pretty connected patterns if you draw things right. [She had drawn knot-like patterns on the individual sides, which looked like they were connected even when the folding 'twisted' the triantles.]

[Theory can be complex, confusing and deeply puzzling.

It can also be stunningly beautiful if you look at things the right way. And this is one of those theories, like Quantum mechanics that is strikingly beautiful and terrifically hard to think about.]

[Beryl is attentively attending as many classes as she can, even showing up to classes she's not registered for when she can't seem to locate the teacher that should usually be teaching her at that time. She always shows up for the magic classes and takes detailed notes.

[It's less general magic and more a specific kind-Wave Theory. Thus far, the general gist seems to be that everything is made of vibrating energy, that manipulating the energy or the vibrations allows for magic, and that quantum fluctuations exist in the energy which allow us to use that magic. There is also power found in emotions and in living creatures as well, which can interact with the other kind of energy, in much the same way that electricity and magnetism are two halves of the same whole.

It is very scientific, and the math lurking just under the surface may be just a bit out of reach...for mathematicians.]

Obviously, any healthy organism has a steady, predictable output of Static H-waves, but in times of sickness, injury or distress, the level can drop precipitously.

Static H-waves and Dynamic ones are very different things but in principle they can be thought of as something like 'personality' and 'emotions' for very loose values of both, when they occur in context with humans. Other contexts can-
