Guide to the Netherworld!
Almaz' Guide to the Netherworld!
Introduction
Welcome to the Netherworld! Netherworld Academy, not to be confused with Netherworld Academy Evil Institute though.
It is unfortunate you now have a huge debt, it's also unfair, but because this is the Netherworld there's not much you can do about it but try and pay it off, or complete the story but that might take a while. You can also try and level up and defeat the Overlord Dean, but that will probably be harder than it's worth since I'm sure he's over 100 even without stronger enemy bills passed.
What is this place?
This is a Netherworld. A Netherworld is a place where demons live. Though, these are probably not the sort of demons you know, if they are the sort of demons you do know you probably already know what's going on or the mechanics feel familiar enough to figure it out. For everyone else, the Netherworld is a place that is usually connected to a Human world. I think anyway. I only really know my world and my worlds Netherworld. But I do know there are multiple Netherworlds connected together!
oh yeah.
So what is the dimensional guide thing?
The dimensional guide is the person who can use the dimensional transport! It sends you to different parts of the Netherworld. I think it's also how they got us all here. It's hard to use so you can't go anywhere without someone to use it. Since it's an NPC thing always, don't count on learning how. But you can probably ask them to go to various local places, and maybe meet new people if you pass the right bills.
What is the point of "bills"?
Bills are passed by the Student Council, or senate or whatever they're called here.... You can get lots of stuff through them. Like you can get more expensive items from the store, or you can get more people to help you out in battles, you can get stronger enemies or access to different locations. Pretty much anything you might want.
They keep denying me! How can I get anything if they hate me so much?
Well... you can always try again, level up more, level up your items and see if they like you more later? Try getting more people to help you out too. Though you can force a bill... I wouldn't recommend it. It just seems like you're being a sore loser. Ah... but if it's really really important there is a way to do it....
What are you talking about get more levels?
Go fight enemies till your stats are increased and your level is higher.

They look like that!
You never did say much about demons themselves.
They're not that different from humans, actually they're a lot less complicated. They pride themselves on being "evil" but it's not really an evil evil, it's sort of like being bad but not horrible.... I guess it's like always being tundere?
So where do I go level anyway? And what about making my items stronger?
You could talk to the dimensional guide to go somewhere, but to make your items stronger you need to talk to the person who manages the Item World, choose the item to go inside and then... fight your way through.

It looks like this, oh and sometimes there's pirates.
Conclusion
Uh... well if there's any questions I'll try and answer them! I've never tried to make a guide before.
(OOC: If you think it needs a cut just tell me and I'll put it behind one! I wasn't sure if i should or not and decided to try it uncut first.)

But I assure you I'm not part of anything! I just found it on the internet!

[...Shouldn't he at least be doubting hino. Almaz is a hero, and heroes don't lie.]
Were the people who brought us here aware of us all along? I wonder.
You seem to have a quite large amount of information on us demons, Hero Almaz. Do you have a history with Netherworlds?
no subject
I do! I lived there for about a month and made a lot of friends.

[That's a shock. Maybe it's just the way his Netherworld works, but Valvatorez is an exception by not being automatically hostile to humans, and only because of his experiences and profession.]
I've seen more heroes than I care to count, but never one so willing to befriend demons. How did you manage to do that?
no subject
And Mao might call me his slave and minion sometimes, but I know that's just his way of expressing his feelings since he's a demon.

Demons rarely say something without basis. We may be different to humans, but rest assured, we have our own thought process. Your friend may yet truly believe what you say.

[But then he had been surrounded by demon teenagers.]
But in the end we weren't really so different. Just have different ways of expressing ourselves.

No matter who you pursue your goals with, above or below, they are still a comrade, deserving of your utmost loyalty and respect simply because of that fact. You can be sure that any respectable demon will know that.

Minion and slave doesn't really conjure the best images of respect and loyalty back though....

Love, Friendship and Justice!
But the true power of friendship is trusting and relying on your friends. Not just ordering them around or expecting them to care without caring back. It has to be mutual to have it's true potential realized.

A better way to phrase it is that the ideals a hero such as you holds dear and our concept of status are separated. We do not let either affect the other.
Do you have anyone you've sworn your allegiance to, Hero Almaz?
no subject
[He pauses a moment.]
The Princess! Mao, my friends, and the innocent!

Just as you said, you have a liege, but you do not let that restrict you from friendship. That is exactly what I'm talking about.
Prinnies are no different. If you respect their efforts to atone for their sins, as I do, then you will not make it easy for them.

I have no intention of granting them luxury, and to give them a second chance at life requires just as great a cost to even things out.
no subject
[Wait no! He was better than that now!]
W-well... I suppose, it is about the journey....
But still my point is that one would call a Prinny a minion, but not a friend. They're treated differently.
