Mingle Post! Our First Class Post~ [Action]

[You've all arrived by your own will or have been hustled into a classroom by a flock of stampeding prinnies. You've been in the room for a few minutes before your first teacher shows up, fashionably late~]

[It's some kind of effeminate flower person: Senator Trap!]

... why are you all here? This is class. You don't belong here.

[Sigh] Making my life hard.

Alright, whatever. I'm Senator Trap and this class is "Zen-Not-Giving-A-Care." I'd have prepared a lesson plan, but it turns out I'm already a master at not caring. So I guess that means you're all going to have to learn from my example as I spend the next hour and a half playing Tetris. [pulls out his myPhone.]

Of course, if you actually care about learning, you're already failing this class.

Oh, well, I'm glad you asked. I would say 90% of the world is a conservative estimate [there is no way that is right], but believe it or not, they are often fed to other fish as well! An unbelievable waste, really. No matter how well you feed another fish, it still won't compare to a genuine sardine.

[Yes, he's technically met Flonne before, but Val is the kind of guy who can't recognize someone the moment you change their wings.]

Wow, 90% of the world has poor taste. [ Oops, she didn't mean to say that out loud... ] Um, but isn't it cannibalism to feed a fish another fish?

More like... fishibalism.

That is correct! Yes, fish often indulge in cannibalism, but sardines? Sardines limit themselves entirely to plankton. So you see, sardines not only win the nutritional victory, but the moral one as well! Based on that, it is a mistake to say that only those with poor taste consume them.

Hm, the moral victory is important to consider, but fishibalism is still fishibalism. Plus, if you eat a sardine that's eaten plankton, isn't that the same as eating plankton yourself?

[ Gags. ] Doesn't sound good.

Ah, correct again!

[Looks like you got your class after all, Flonne.]

While not nearly as healthy as sardines, plankton do provide omega-3 fatty acids, as well as many essential aminoacids that will make you stronger. Of course, you derive much more nutritional benefit, not to mention taste, by eating a sardine instead. After all, they've already eaten the plankton for you, the kind creatures.
