"You changed the game, so I did the same," came Evangeline's voice from several angles...

... Finally resolving to behind Mindy, as Evangeline made a sharp palm strike to Mindy's back - not enough to dislocate anything, but a direct hit would send her stumbling.

[hit_girl_mindy]

"Aw what the hell," Mindy muttered, being confused by the myriad of voices. The spec was too wide, so she couldn't see where they were all coming from...

And then the stroke came, poking a noticeable hole in her stance and knocking her forward several feet. She swore, trying to turn around and react, but even she was really dizzy now.

"You've got quite the potential... A good amount of training, too."

Evangeline quickly approached, moving in for a series of such palm strikes.

[hit_girl_mindy]

"I..learned from the best...and trial and error.."

Mindy was scrambling, trying to make an attack on her difficult.

"... Lose control in a fight, though, and, well..."

And then, a loose fist was caught in an open palm, and Mindy was suddenly pulled towards Evangeline.

[hit_girl_mindy]

"I...didn't mean to lose..."

Not that she thought she would WIN. Negi, she knew, was really strong, even when he was young, so it made sense he had beaten Evangeline. Mindy, however, had not fought the vampire until today, and her speed hadn't helped her this time.

She tried resisting, but of course, Eva was pretty strong.

"And yet you did," Evangeline responded, as she made a direct strike to the solar plexus.

"And something good to know. Negi didn't beat me in a straight fight. Both times we fought all-out, he had to take an unexpected advantage to win. I'm sure the boyo could become better than me... He just hasn't yet."

She only just blocked this hit, but she was still reeling, and she spat up some blood,and was throwing herself back in the game despite how woozy she was feeling.

"Good. In that case, that gives me something to look forward to!"

"Perhaps. But not this time."

And then, Evangeline jumped in, hands aimed at Mindy's shoulders to tackle her down. She was clearly going to finish this.

[hit_girl_mindy]

"We'll se-"

So much for finishing her sentence as Mindy was now tackled hard to the ground.

*And, as quick as she can, Evangeline goes to bite Mindy in the neck before she can get her bearings.*

"N-M...what..."

After a short second, Mindy could feel - more than hear - a light, muffled laugh against her neck, as the vampiress stepped back.

"For being completely outmatched, you actually didn't do half bad," she commented. "Give it a few centuries, perhaps."

[hit_girl_mindy]

Fuck. She was dazed now, and trying to regain herself when she felt the bite, and now was starting to feel woozy. In spite of herself, she laughed.

"No way I'm waiting that long," she said, feeling very light on her feet.

"A lot of things come with immortality. Patience isn't always one of them."

The vampiress laughed. "Now, come with me quietly. My newest minion must be properly prepared."

Wordlessly, the younger but still older looking girl got up to follow Evangeline, her whole demeanor changing completely.

"Yes master."
