There were plenty of ways to blow off steam. For some, and Mindy was included in this, there was training. For others, there was sex, and Mindy was also a part of this. With all that had gone on (and not) in the school so far, there was going to be a need to let loose with SOME sort of action. In this particular circumstance, Mindy had just received her first legit drink of alcohol that had nothing to do with a flying ship, and technically, she was more of age now.

There was a lot to answer for: she was still waiting for her motorcycle, there still hadn't been another class yet, and she was starting to feel bored. So in her mind, there was really only one way to solve this problem: getting herself noticed. Once she had herself three really good glasses of strong mead, she went out and bought herself a few decent explosives, a large boombox, and enough fireworks to make a nuisance of herself.

She was currently starting off with the fireworks and blaring music that sounded like this, shooting off the fireworks first. She did this only after scaling the roof of the school first, bringing her booze with her. Nothing like semi dangerous climbing while drunk to really bring the danger to a head, but it was Mindy, who had worked impaired before.

Oh hell yeah! I figured I could make things interesting by being up to no good! That, and I never got to do this back home!

Hm? Fireworks are frowned upon where you come from?

There are places that let you, but I'm from a city, you can't really do that there.

[Takes a swig] Ahh!

That's a shame! We don't have many laws to speak of that would restrict such a thing in Gensokyo.

Where I live, I think there's too much that would get set on fire.

[Stares at the rabbits] Uh. Do they drink?

That is certainly a possible hazard in Gensokyo as well. [Just... more foliage than buildings]

[one of the rabbits speaks up instead of letting Kaguya answer:] "Yup!"

Must be nice then. In my line of work, can't really attract attention.

[She snickers, but is glad the booze is ever lasting]. Go ahead then, as long as Kaguya's good with it.

[Some of the rabbits begin to partake of the booze]

In my world, if you do something spectacular enough to draw attention, you end up with a shrine maiden and/or a witch showing up at your doorstep and blasting you with danmaku. Things such as fireworks aren't considered problematic enough for that, fortunately.

[Mindy raised an eyebrow]. What the hell is danmaku?

[She patted one of the drinking rabbits absentmindedly, taking a sip herself].

Those magic bullets that you've seen me employ during the zombie attack.

Sounds pretty hardcore. But who knows, maybe we'll meet some more here!

[Blows up another one that goes high in the air before erupting into stars]

The aforementioned witch was here earlier, but I haven't seen her for quite some time now.

Huh. Probably better for me, I guess. Then again, dealing with a witch would be fun...

She certainly is quite amusing at times, I think. It's certainly a shame that she doesn't appear to be here any longer.

Man, we keep losing people.

Wonder if me (heh) wife is still around, actually.

For your sake, I certainly hope she still is.

Of course. You would be sad if your wife wasn't here any longer, wouldn't you?

It would be sad if she were gone, yeah, she seems like fun.

But don't get her confused with my actual girlfriend. If she were gone, I'd be blowing up at least half the school in retaliation.

I'll admit, I'm not entirely clear who is who.

Wife is that queen Iono. My girlfriend is that viking, Ruffnut. Also she's my fighting partner, rival and best friend.

Ah, yes. Iono is the one that seems interested in all women, isn't she? Quite an odd person!

I haven't spoken much with your girlfriend, but she was quite helpful as I recall.

Yeah, she's a pretty interesting character. Haven't seen her in awhile.

I hope she gets here soon. It's no fun drinking without her. Why even bother blowing anything up?

I hope I can, at the very least, return the games she lent to me.

You could always send your girlfriend a message to ensure her arrival.
