Fire in the hole!

There were plenty of ways to blow off steam. For some, and Mindy was included in this, there was training. For others, there was sex, and Mindy was also a part of this. With all that had gone on (and not) in the school so far, there was going to be a need to let loose with SOME sort of action. In this particular circumstance, Mindy had just received her first legit drink of alcohol that had nothing to do with a flying ship, and technically, she was more of age now.

There was a lot to answer for: she was still waiting for her motorcycle, there still hadn't been another class yet, and she was starting to feel bored. So in her mind, there was really only one way to solve this problem: getting herself noticed. Once she had herself three really good glasses of strong mead, she went out and bought herself a few decent explosives, a large boombox, and enough fireworks to make a nuisance of herself.

She was currently starting off with the fireworks and blaring music that sounded like this, shooting off the fireworks first. She did this only after scaling the roof of the school first, bringing her booze with her. Nothing like semi dangerous climbing while drunk to really bring the danger to a head, but it was Mindy, who had worked impaired before.

Oh hell yeah! I figured I could make things interesting by being up to no good! That, and I never got to do this back home!

Hm? Fireworks are frowned upon where you come from?

There are places that let you, but I'm from a city, you can't really do that there.

[Takes a swig] Ahh!

That's a shame! We don't have many laws to speak of that would restrict such a thing in Gensokyo.

It's no game of D&D, but I like a little action when I drink.

[What a show off! Still, she's not gonna be rushing to say that aloud, not before getting the temperament of this guy.]

I stand corrected. Not gonna enjoy the booze?

[Richard does indeed like to show off. Don't make him blow up a moon or anything. He pouts at the mention of alcohol.]

I'm undead. The stuff doesn't work on me.

[Nothing wrong with that, if you were able to back it up. A huge ass fireball in the sky pretty much told her what she needed to know].

Undead? Damn. Are you sure? The booze was made by a demon and everything.

Of course, one person had been too lazy to climb properly, and was up on the roof.

"Hello there," Evangeline said, looking... As bored as usual.

See, that's just cheating.

[Mindy didn't have to look up to know who it was. It was Evangeline, and obviously she didn't need to climb up the roof, unlike a certain muddied and disheveled girl].

You can actually enjoy alcohol, right?

The taste, sometimes, but I do not believe I can get drunk.

Really? Then what's the point even?

[Sets off another firework, which lets out a resounding BOOM].

Some sweeter drinks can be nice anyways, though. Also, it's fun to drink someone under the table.

[Not so nice that she was going to be like that until Ruffnut got here though. Also the same reason she had not detonated the explosives yet].

[Ifurita watched for a while. No, she knew what was going on, it was clearly a party! She had been to one, too, like when she had personally carried half a ton of fireworks and fired off all of them at once for the princesses vacation...celebrity...thing. That had been pretty!

She floated up, subconsciously dodging any firework that strayed her way, said something that was immediately drowned by the music, tried again, only to fail, causing her to float back a bit, before moving closer again, to try again. Was this loud enough?]

Uhm, hello! What are you celebrating?!

[This startled Mindy, just enough so that almost fell off the roof where she was setting up the fireworks. Luckily she flipped back up, panting, then looked up at Ifurita].

Could you WARN someone before you do that?!

[Ifurita immediately flew backwards and hid behind a chimney, statue, or the music boxes, whatever was available, and peered out from behind it]

I-I tried to, but your music was too loud!

[She was more bothered by actually falling off the roof than Ifurita being here, of course. Even if the girl WAS right, that her music had likely been too loud].

Yeah well, that's why you float over and tap people on the shoulder! Anyway, come over here, have a drink.

[Sadly, Ifurita had missed that. She wasn't the sharpest when it came to accidental damage.]

Oh, okay, I'll make sure to do that next time, I'm very sorry. Do you think I should make a note? I'll probably not forget it then.

[She nodded, floating up and down with the nod.]

And uhm, thank you! Is it tea?

[Of course. Mindy was used to this by now].

[She snickered]. No man, its booze! What kind of persons sets off fireworks listening to loud music and drinks TEA?
