[By the time everything was said and done, Mindy was reasonably injured: the near incineration had tested her limits, so there had been several sprains, and she needed a bandage or two to take care of where she'd taken some actual burns. But this had come second to how she felt now. She'd felt so bad she couldn't even tell Ruffnut about it, leading the viking girl to leave her alone for a bit.

It was a nightmare, thinking of it. A civilian dying...because she took the fight out of safe grounds. Even if she was surprised by the fight, it had happened, she took part in it, and now someone died. Granted, they were alive again, but still. She couldn't even TELL this to anyone since they thought it was so great it happened. The Overlord would definitely have given her flack for being morose about it.

So she headed to the cafeteria, wine in hand to drown her sorrows, only to run into pretty much the last person she wanted to run into].

Oh god damn it.

[Whatever, she was already here. Just pick a seat nowhere near there and stay in her gloom cloud].

It's a japanese Honorific. I may not be Japanese, but I can speak it fluently for when the player changes the voice settings to japanese.

To put it simply, A Sempai is someone that is a higher rank then you.
