This is Same, Live from the field with first responses from the polls. It seems like quite a crowd has turned up today. It's Twenty-hundred and thirty hours-and this is Netherworld News Network. Many people have turned out to vote, only to be turned away by the nearly incomprehensible registration system-indeed, it looks like the only people having it easy are the transfer students. Still, the ballot itself looks remarkably simple-a yes/no vote for each candidate, and everyone who gets more pluses than minuses wins a seat on the Student Council.

We have it on good authority here in the studio that the overall winner with the highest ratio of yays to nays will be given a fancy hat and the completely meaningless post of Student Council President, is this true?

It is true, but we won't have an exact figure on who's won for quite a while-Penultimo is counting every vote himself, and the man is slow. We think that Dean Labbit hired him for that express reason, to put this off as long as possible. Whatever the case, the list of suggested bills was updated this morning, and Senator Trap's top hat was nailed to it for some reason.

That's too bad Same, I had high hopes for that hat. We go now to Plenair, at the Hat's funeral services.
