[It was nowhere near as impressive as a dragon, and despite having her money for some reason, she had still waited a very VERY long time to finally get her motorcycle. The shoe motorcycle had almost made her give up, thinking that those stupid birds were never going to get it right. Now, however, in the Netherworld there was a deafening roar in the air as a girl dressed in purple, helmet to match, drove by with her cape flapping in the wind. If you only knew her as Mindy, likely you would just glance at the stranger in awe (or whatever you were feeling). If, however, you knew that Mindy Macready doubled as Hit Girl, then you knew that the girl had finally gotten what was coming to her.

I guess, but it would be god to push your limits, see what you can do in that kind of situation. That's why I spar and fight.

I haven't been sitting idle either-but battle is not the be-all end all of my life.

Oh, I shoot a little bit of everything-I've picked up quite a few tricks since I handled my first pistol, little more than an airgun. But this-

[Rozalin produces a compact pistol, the words 'Megiddo Canmon' inscribed on the barrel. She hands it over for inspection, it's well balanced for it's size and weight, but slightly heavier than it looks.]

This is probably what I would use. Day-to-day, a more elegant sidearm is preferred, but this is a serious gun capable of serious hurt.

I find guns far more civilized than swords or polearms-a bit of distance so you are not elbow-deep in gore and smelling the viscera and tempted to just bend down and-

*ahem* Well, you know, it keeps the edge off.

There is not a lot about the Item worlds that makes sense-sometimes you can't make progress and need to use a Mr. Gency's Exit.

And sometimes, you get really good weapons.

Well, it probably didn't come up. You missed Almaz's explaination of the whole Item World thing then? It's not really as important here as in most other Netherworlds-the Rosenqueen here has quite a comprehensive catalog.
