[It was nowhere near as impressive as a dragon, and despite having her money for some reason, she had still waited a very VERY long time to finally get her motorcycle. The shoe motorcycle had almost made her give up, thinking that those stupid birds were never going to get it right. Now, however, in the Netherworld there was a deafening roar in the air as a girl dressed in purple, helmet to match, drove by with her cape flapping in the wind. If you only knew her as Mindy, likely you would just glance at the stranger in awe (or whatever you were feeling). If, however, you knew that Mindy Macready doubled as Hit Girl, then you knew that the girl had finally gotten what was coming to her.

...I would simply prefer that Hanako not associate with such a poor role model. Etna would probably not seem bad to you, but I won't have a ten year old proclaiming that she will be 'just as cool and twice as sexy' to everyone.

...Right, I should explain my situation and that of my vassals. Hanako is a human turned demon, due to the corruption of her home into a Netherworld. My purported father, the Fake Overlord Zenon, was responsible for that transformation, but since his defeat she has not regained her humanity like her parents or brother. She enjoys being a demon you see, having never known any other life, and finds more mature demons to be exciting role models. She wants to become a powerful demon lord, you see, so existing demons of that power level are her ideal. I do not think she understands 'sexy' beyond the fact that Etna considers it one of her most noteworthy traits.

Yes, well, if Haneko looks anything like her mother, she won't have much trouble eclipsing Etna. Did you happen to see her during her brief tenure here?

Hmmm. Perhaps it is arrogance, of the kind that only a powerful overlord can have, but I have never felt intimidated by him. He has a certain brutish air that does not impress me.

[Aggressive and wanting to show him up, yes. That was perfectly natural, wanting to sort out who was on top of the heap. But Rozalin was also smart enough to work out in her head the consequences of such an action.]

If you interrupt his date, you will be intimidated by him, very intimidated. My body felt it enough that day. But yeah, he's a brute. Doesn't mean you should take him lightly. That guy is vicious.

You speak as though I do not know this? Trust me-Zetta is not the only overlord of legend. There are others, Krichevskoy, Valvoga and Babalyon, Priere and Zenon. The day is not far distant when the name of Rozalin has the same echo of power and prestige.

It is only a matter of time at this point. My power is vast enough already to stand shoulder to shoulder with them, and only my reputation needs to catch up.

Heh. You know, that would be a pretty awesome thing to see. Right now I've been in this dump and haven't seen one cool overlord versus overlord fight yet. I had figure that happened all the time.

Well, I did offer to have a sparring match with Zetta, but you know, he declined, saying I wasn't good enough. And really, any fight betweeen us is down to a range game.

Pfft. Not good enough? You should have egged him on, saying maybe he was scared someone would take his title away.

Hmmm. Well, I am not a battle maniac like some, and let the matter drop. I do not need to salve my ego in such a manner.

I have the better aim, of the two of us. It wouldn't be easy, but even his eye-beams, I think I can stay ahead of. And I can teleport, failing all else.

I guess, but it would be god to push your limits, see what you can do in that kind of situation. That's why I spar and fight.

Yeah, that would come in handy. What do you shoot at him?

I haven't been sitting idle either-but battle is not the be-all end all of my life.

Oh, I shoot a little bit of everything-I've picked up quite a few tricks since I handled my first pistol, little more than an airgun. But this-

[Rozalin produces a compact pistol, the words 'Megiddo Canmon' inscribed on the barrel. She hands it over for inspection, it's well balanced for it's size and weight, but slightly heavier than it looks.]

This is probably what I would use. Day-to-day, a more elegant sidearm is preferred, but this is a serious gun capable of serious hurt.

As long as I'm in the Netherworld and a sitting duck for demons, it'll b e a priority.
